Regulatory and policy commitment
Standards that create a culture
of inclusion and respect
Health+ People is committed to abiding by all regulations and policies for
the good of our workers and the patients they serve.
One of the most significant changes to occur in the sector, the Aged Care Quality Standards and Charter of Rights introduced in 2019 guide all actions and decisions by the Health+ People team.
These quality standards encompass a range of considerations including consumer dignity and choice, personal and clinical care, services and support for daily living, and organisational governance.
As outlined in the standards, Health+ People provides care in a way that creates a culture of inclusion and respect for patients, supports patients to exercise choice and independence, and respects their privacy.
